The Playboy Club may be a distant memory now, but some of us will have cause to hear the name “Amber Heard” again soon: She’s starring in Syrup (a comedy set to come out this year), Machete Kills (a comedy coming in 2013), Paranoia (a thriller coming in 2013), and possibly Cali (a comedy, a gig she landed after Kristen Stewart abruptly dropped out).

Oh, and apparently she’s doing Johnny Depp, so you might see her name while waiting in line at the cash register even if you don’t see any of her films .
