Katy Perry gets wild in her music video for ‘Roar’.

In the video, Perry trades her boyfriend for Ripley the monkey (after the boyfriend is unceremoniously mauled by a tiger) following a Lost-style plane crash.

“I’ve met him along the way on my journey, because unfortunately I was in a bit of a plane crash, and my boyfriend got eaten by the tiger, who I’ll have to face off with at the very end of the music video,” Perry explained on the set of the video.

‘Roar’ is the first single to be taken from Katy Perry’s forthcoming album, Prism.
