Watch: Mad Max: Fury Road – First Full Trailer

Mad Max- Fury Road - First Full Trailer-14

The fourth Mad Max movie trailer is here!

Staring Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hault and a shaven-headed Charlize Theron, the two-and-half minute trailer shows there is plenty of action to look forward to in the George Miller film.

Fans of the franchise will be glad to finally see the movie which has been in development for the last 25 years.

Despite rumours that Mel Gibson was set to reprise the famous lead role, Tom Hardy has taken his place as Max Rockatansky and Charlize plays the role of Imperator Furiosa.

Hard to believe it has been nearly 30 years since the last movie!

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is the fourth film of George Miller‘s Road Warrior/Mad Max franchise co-written and directed by Miller. The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life.
Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order… There’s Max (played by TOM HARDY from The Dark Knight Rises), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos.
And… Furiosa (played by CHARLIZE THERON from Prometheus), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.”

Mad Max: Fury Road also stars Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Megan Gale, Nathan Jones and original ‘Mad Max’ film star Hugh Keays-Byrne, it hits cinemas in May, 2015.

Amazing Hyper-Lapse/Time-Lapse Reel

Matthew Vandeputte aka Tjoez shows off some of his best hyper-lapse – i.e. time-lapse videos with panning, rotations or both – shots of the year. The song is Baby Come Back by Kill Paris & Aurora Borealis from the Gravity OST.

10 Best Uses Of Music In Video Games

We don’t usually think of video games as sources of great music. Generally, soundtracks kind of blend in to the overall atmospheres of the games. Some games, however, from simple internet arcades to massive console experiences, do make use of real music, either in the form of licensed songs or their own compositions that go beyond keyboard-spawned game tunes. So here’s a look at 10 of the best uses of real music in gaming!

1. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater – “Superman” by Goldfinger

This was included in a similar list at and really serves as the perfect example of licensed music in video games. Anyone who played Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater will remember busting out kick-flips to this ideal Cali skater ska-punk tune. It’s just hard to imagine a more perfect marriage between a song and game.

2. Bioshock – “Beyond The Sea (La Mer)” by Django Reinhardt

Another song noted on Buzzfeed’s list, “Beyond The Sea (La Mer)” just sets an incredibly creepy tone in the bizarre and captivating 2007 game Bioshock. One of several ’20s, ’30s and ’40s songs used in the game, it helps lend a deep, reflective quality to its impactful scene in the game.

3. NBA 2k14 – “Hate Me Now” by Nas

Lebron James famously got involved with the music selection for 2k14 and supposedly had a direct hand in the choosing the track list. There are plenty of interesting selections to choose from, and has the full list. However, the choice of “Hate Me Now” has to be applauded. It’s a no-nonsense pump-up track that gets you psyched to play some (video game) basketball. It’s also a nice shoutout to an artist who predates today’s slew of rappers and pop stars desperately trying to get a piece of the NBA spotlight.

4. James Bond 007: Everything Or Nothing – “Everything Or Nothing” by Mya

“Everything Or Nothing” was written specifically for this underrated Bond game, but it belongs right alongside well-known Bond film themes such as Madonna’s “Die Another Day” or, more recently, Adele’s haunting Skyfall theme. Not only does the title simply sound right for a Bond film, but the song sets the stage for a sleek and sexy adventure. Check it out at the Bond wiki.

5. Saints Row: The Third – “Power” by Kanye West

Kanye West’s hit song “Power” from a few years back starts playing in this game just as you undertake a mission to parachute out of the sky and wreak havoc on a party. It’s a fantastic pairing and one that gives you just the right feeling of ridiculous invincibility. made note of this scene as well and provided a nice video clip of the action.

6. Prince Of Persia: The Warrior Within – “I Stand Alone” by Godsmack

Known as the game that took Prince Of Persia in a weird direction, The Warrior Within actually has some fun gameplay. Aside from that, “I Stand Alone” was a perfect track for the weirdly hardcore, semi-gothic route this franchise took. It might not be everybody’s favourite pairing, but the song and game embody each other.

7. Spamalot Slots – Original Musical Soundtrack

This isn’t a full-fledged console game, but the Spamalot slot arcade hosted at is certainly made better by its inclusion of official music. Those who have seen the show will recognize the goofy, playful sounds originally composed by John Du Prez and Monty Python veteran Eric Idle, and the gameplay is better for it.

8. Robot Unicorn Attack – “Always” by Erasure

This too is an online game rather than a major console experience. But Robot Unicorn Attack at has become something of a sensation. It just wouldn’t be the same without the repetitive, maddening, and strangely addictive 2009 mix of the 1994 Erasure pop song “Always.” Whether it’s good or bad that a song fits perfectly with a cartoon unicorn rainbow-bursting through shining star obstacles is up for debate—but there’s no doubt this is a killer match.

9. Crazy Taxi – “All I Want” by The Offspring

It’s almost hard to remember how much of a sensation Crazy Taxi was back in 1999. But before Grand Theft Auto became all the rage with its third installment, Crazy Taxi was gamers’ best shot at random, reckless driving. There’s something oddly fitting and equally reckless about “All I Want,” which would play now and again as you drove around completing missions while breaking every conceivable road rule.

10. Call Of Duty: Ghosts – “Survival” by Eminem

This one isn’t actually in the game, but its use in the game trailer was flawless enough to warrant mention. Never mind that the opening line of the song is “this is survival of the fittest,” a perfect sentiment for a game best known for multiplayer shooter contests. The energy of the song blends well with game action, and the promotion served a dual purpose in promoting Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP 2 and the game at the same time.

Kendall Jenner strips for a raunchy Christmas countdown

Kendall-Jenner-strips-for-a-raunchy-Christmas-countdown-still-01British mag “Love” has been rolling out daily videos of sexy babes for their “Advent Calendar” this year, now it’s Kendall Jenner’s day.

That apparently means strapping on some stockings, some lingerie and a Santa hat and dancing/jiggling around with a Cool Guy Santa Claus while Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” plays.

Soo… that’s kinda weird.

The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. First Star Wars: Episode 7 Trailer – The Force Has Awakened

It’s here! Disney has released the very first Star Wars: The Force Awakens from director J.J. Abrams‘ highly anticipated sequel, which falls into the franchise as Episode VII if anyone’s counting.

As far as teaser trailers go, this one is pretty incredible. Abrams doesn’t simply rely on nostalgia to make this thing exciting, offering up tantalising teases through some genuinely compelling filmmaking.

As far as character first-looks go, we can clearly see John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Oscar Isaac as seemingly “good guys” in full costume, and then an obscured baddie (Adam Driver?).

The money shot of the Millennium Falcon is spectacular! The film also stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Max Von Sydow, and more.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in cinemas December 2015.

“The Park Is Open” First Jurassic World trailer is here

It’s been 21 years since the first Jurassic Park film came out so the build up for this one is going to be even more tense!

You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea.

There’s the ‘Jurassic Park 4’ trailer summed up for you in pretty much one exchange. The new film imagines a world where Jurassic Park is up and running. The kinks have been worked out. Raptors are trained. But, people are still people and that means they do really stupid things. Like create massive “hybrid” dinosaurs to goose attendance at their park. (Will they never learn?)

In many ways, the Jurassic Park franchise is modern cinema’s Jaws series, especially considering the first film in both properties was directed by a Steven Spielberg with something to prove.

They both go from being one game-changing movie to a series full of lackluster sequels that never truly live up to the potential of the original. However, unlike Jaws, it seems Jurassic Park is poised for a massive comeback, and it starts with the release of Jurassic World – earth’s first chance to revisit the famed island where dinosaurs roam free.

We don’t get to see this massive new dinosaur (though there is one impressive shot of a new water-based dinosaur leaping out of a Sea World like tank to eat a great white shark), but we do get a pretty impressive money shot: Pratt and army of raptor pals racing to save the day.

“Jurassic World” opens in cinemas June 2015.

Extended Avengers 2 Trailer: Ultron Crashes the Party

Disney has released the first Avengers: Age of Ultron clip from writer/director Joss Whedon’s highly anticipated Marvel Studios sequel.

The clip debuted during a new episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, where the first trailer was set to premiere before it leaked last week.

Age of Ultron sees the titular Avengers battling a force of their own invention, as Tony Stark’s new robot Ultron gets a mind of his own and decides that humanity is in need of wiping out.

This clip is essentially what was shown at Comic-Con this summer, and it shows that despite the serious tone of the trailer, there’s still plenty of fun to be had.

In the clip, the Avengers are letting off steam in the form of an Avengers party in Stark’s penthouse, as they each take turns trying to lift Thor’s hammer… Shenanigans ensue.

The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Andy Serkis, and Samuel L. Jackson.

First Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer:

Marvel was planning to release the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer next week, but it’s like the tech activist nerds say: information wants to be free. The trailer has popped up on the internet a week ahead of its scheduled release.

Some days just turn out great, and this is one of them. Avengers fans can get an early fix of “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, since some blessed soul saw fit to upload the trailer to the internets… or was it Hydra?

As you can see, Age of Ultron is shaping up to be just the sort of massive sequel that Marvel needs to follow up the smash hit Avengers, which is one of the highest grossing movies of all time. As we heard in previous reports, there’s that creepy “No Strings on Me” rendition throughout the trailer, an allusion to the fact that the villainous Ultron has cut the ties that connected him to the humans he was intended to serve.

We also get our first glimpses of the newest additions to the Avengers squad in action. There’s a quick shot of Quicksilver, in a scene that we’re sure Marvel has pulled out all the stops for in order to top Fox’s X-Men: Days of Future Past version of the character. We also get a look at the Scarlet Witch, though we only catch a glimpse of her powers.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, The film is once again written and directed by the legendary Joss Whedon.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits cinemas in 2015.

Apple unveils iPhone 6, 6 Plus and the stunning Apple Watch

The iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch are all finally here! Plus you get the new U2 Album for free on iTunes!

The iPhone 6 is joined by its bigger cousin, the iPhone 6 Plus. The larger phone has one nice perk, you can go into landscape orientation to get a two-pane display.

There’s a new gesture for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus called “reachability.” What makes this new feature so useful is its time-saving abilities. A “double-touch” to the home button brings down the top buttons so you can quickly navigate from the screen you’re on.

Another huge feature on these new phones is the sheer size of the app library. According to figures shared during the keynote event, there are 1.3 million apps available on the App Store, with more being added every day.

The sizes of the two iPhones are 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus come with pixel specs of 1334 x 750 and 1920 x 1080, respectively. Apple gleefully announced that in the case of the iPhone 6 Plus, you’ll get 185% more pixels than on the 5s. The 6 is 6.8mm thin, while the the 6 Plus is 7.1mm thin.

Apple has a new chip: the Apple A8. It’s a 64-bit chip that has 2 billion transistors, but is 13% smaller than the A7. Graphics should load 50 percent faster than on the previous chip generation.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus both have a great camera. Here are the relevant specs: 8MP camera, true-tone flash, 1.5 micron pixels, and a f/2.2 aperture. The phase-detection auto-focus used in both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus means you can take photos fast, and with the same technology found in professional DSLR camera. The new iPhone 6 has burst mode for selfies. Burst mode, for the uninitiated will take several photos with one push of a button. To make it just as easy to shoot amazing video, Apple added new features like the option to capture 1080p HD at 60 fps, 240-fps slo-mo, and time-lapse video. And you can shoot HD video and then watch the stunning results on the large Retina HD display, and on the iPhone Plus you get Optical Image Stabilisation.

Get all the Apple glory you want on September 19th. Pre-order from September 12.

Apple has cleverly let loose two brand new iPhone 6 ads featuring the inseparable comedy duo that is Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake. Known for creating hilarious sketches for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the 30-second ad above shows off some of the new iPhone 6 features as well as the two star’s voices and hands, but not their faces, as they perform an a cappella version of the 2001: A Space Odyssey theme.

Another ad, seen below, highlights some of the iPhone 6′s new health functions.

APPLE WATCHapple-watch-styles
After years of rumours, speculation, and outlandish predictions, Apple has finally unveiled the “Apple Watch.”

Rather than using “pinch to zoom” gestures on the touchscreen, you can use the “digital crown” to scroll down a list or zoom in on a map. The Apple Watch is also being billed as a “a comprehensive health and fitness device.” In addition, you can dictate messages responses directly through the

Supported apps featured during the keynote include a Pinterest app, a BMW app that lets you find your car and a Nike fitness app. The watch can be used to make payments through Apple Pay, (No date on when Australia is get Apple Pay) or to unlock your hotel room door at select hotels.

You can also send your heartbeat to a friend or loved one: The device reads your heartbeat and then sends out a vibration that matches your pulse… How romantic!

The “taptic engine” of the Apple Watch gives users a subtle vibration to indicate that there is a notification on your iPhone. The Apple Watch will work with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 5S. Sorry iPhone 4s users, but this generation of iOS devices marks the beginning of the end for you.

There are two main questions marks hanging over the Apple Watch: connectivity and battery life. We’re waiting to learn more about these aspects of the watch.

The release date is TBA. All we know is that is early 2015.

APPLE PAYapple-pay
Gone are the days of searching for your wallet. The wasted moments finding the right card. Now payments happen with a single touch.

Apple Pay will change how we pay with breakthrough contactless payment technology (NFC) and unique security features built right into the devices you have with you every day. So you can use your iPhone 6 or Apple Watch to pay in an easy, secure, and private way.

Apple Pay is very similar to PayWave, the benefit implicit in Apple Pay is the TouchID system providing added security. Essentially, once you have loaded your credit card into Apple’s iTunes (which 500 million people have already), you’re also adding fingerprint security to using your credit card. So, if you lose your shiny new iPhone 6, you can remote wipe your cards from iCloud.

Apple and U2 are giving the new album “Songs of Innocence” to over 500 million iTunes customers worldwide. Never before have so many people owned one album, let alone on the day of its release.

Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda Music Video Features Intense Lapdance

After kicking off the month of August with the release of her ‘Anaconda’ single, Nicki Minaj returns with the official music video for her Sir Mix-a-Lot-sampled banger “Anaconda”.

Directed by Colin Tilley, the playful and extremely provocative music video stars Nicki Minaj and her many colourful personalities. She shakes her booty in a rainforest, whips up some tasty treats in the kitchen, and gives Drake a lapdance he won’t ever forget…but just don’t touch.

Produced by Polow Da Don and Da Internz, the rump shaker will appear on Nicki’s upcoming third album The Pinkprint, due later this year.

This is a long way from Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” Video

Rihanna Stuns in Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Photoshoot

Rihanna is known for her skin flashing ways, but Rihanna has been turned from controversial cover girl to covered up girl in her new magazine shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.

While the 26-year-old – who has no qualms about posing topless – may seem an unusual choice for a fashion spread about dressing modestly, the pop star is set to grace the front of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.

With the tag line of ‘Rihanna of Arabia: The new modesty, cover up in style,’ the magazine shoot shows the S&M singer as she has never been seen before!

Dracula Untold Trailer is Unleashed

Universal and Legendary unleashed the first “Dracula Untold” trailer unto the world, riffing a bit on our current superhero-obsessed culture while showing off Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6, Immortals) as the iconic vampire Dracula.

This isn’t really the Bram Stoker story we’ve all come to know and love this is more like a prequel story with hat tips to “Batman” and ‘“The Mummy”. This trailer is actually pretty cool for what is essentially a Dracula origin story. Luke Evans plays Vlad, a man who strikes a dark bargain to save his people and his family… and gets some nifty supernatural powers in the process!

Gary Shore directs and yes the film looks like it will be PG-13.

“Dracula Untold” will hit cinemas later this year.

New Hunger Games: Mockingjay Teaser

In a new teaser for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1”, President Snow and Peeta Mellark greet the citizens of Panem with a little propaganda.

Snow (played by Donald Sutherland) addresses the citizens of Panem with Katniss’ District 12 cohort and love interest Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) by his side. While this, along with its homebase, may seem like a fun way of promoting the film, it actually points to a plot point to come in the movie.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer 2

Image | Paramount Pictures

The Turtles are back!

The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer shows us the hardware-heavy villain Shredder in action. And yeah, that is a very, very elaborate costume.

Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello while understandably unnerving some fans of the franchise with their human-like CGI appearance, are ready to defend their city with the scrappy April O’Neil (played by Megan Fox) in tow.

While fans are no doubt planning their trips to the cinema to see these heroes in action, the new ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ trailer unveils a new and animatronic Shredder, ninja master Splinter (Tony Shalhoub), Fox’s reporter sidekick Will Arnett, and Whoopi Goldberg! One thing we noticed in the trailer that really caught our attention was at the 1:04 mark.

Who is this mystery man?

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Trailer 2

If this second trailer for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Second trailer doesn’t convince you – what will?

We got our first taste of the ever so long awaited Sin City sequel back in March, but this sleeker, sexier and longer second trailer gives us much more of everything – especially Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

And too much JGL is never enough!

All the old faces are back Rosario Dawson, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis… some older and more scarred than we remember – as well as some fresher faced cast members ready for more noir sex and violence when the movie is released in August.

Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller reunite to bring Miller’s visually stunning “Sin City” graphic novels back to the screen. Weaving together two of Miller’s classic stories with new tales, the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more notorious inhabitants.
